For our coming year end outing, we will be going to SENTOSA to chill out. We need to fix a date. And as I have stated in the tag box, please let me know when your last day of exams will be. And also, when your school hols officially start, so that I can come out with a few dates to let you all choose. So far, Roseann will end her exams on 8th oct. Carmen's O lvls ends on the 13 of nov. Anyone ending later than 13 of nov? The activities that Joanne Ong and me have in mind are: 1. Picnic - where everyone will contribute one kind of food, so that we get a variety of food to eat, haha. You guys can also team up to prepare a the food that u are going to bring, cos I know preparing the food can be quite tedious if only 1 person is doing the job, say maybe 3 of you can contribute chicken wings? That will be nice. I suggest that a few of you(boys) can contribute drinks? Cos it's kind of heavy for girls to carry them all the way to Sentosa. Yup. 2. Ball games - there are free volleyball courts and basketball courts at siloso beach, so those who have vballs or bballs at home, it will be nice if you guys can bring them along. 3. Swimming - going to sentosa, of course must play in the waters right? So everyone need to bring extra clothing, it's a MUST, cos you never know if you will get wet or not. Haha. 4. Card games - we can also play simple card games. So those who have poker cards or UNO cards, please bring. If you guys have any suggestions as to what ele we can do at sentosa, do let everyone know! September holidays are gone and it's back to school again. Term 4 of 2008. Some questions to ask ourselves: Have we made full use of the holidays? How much have each and everyone of us achieved so far? Looking ahead at this point of time, how much time do we have left before the final examinations? Here are 2 quotes that I find that are quite true and meaningful and would like to share it with all of you (taken from The Last Lecture by Randy Pausch): Sometimes, we complain that things are difficult,tedious,brain-draining, etc... the fact is: "We cannot change the cards we are dealt, just how we play the hand." Sometimes we get tired of the constant nagging and bugging from our parents and teachers... the fact is: "When you're screwing up and nobody says anything to you anymore, that means they've given up on you."
